WORLD DISABLED DAY

Today is world Disabled Day.

World Disabled Day is observed every year on 3 December. Also known as “International Day of Persons with Disabilities”, the day aims to promote an awareness of disability issues and the fundamental rights of persons with disabilities. It is important to integrate disabled persons in the main stream of society. Disabled persons are often discriminated against and that is never an ideal condition. Society must take adequate steps to involve persons with disabilities in the main stream of each aspect of the social, political, economic and cultural status of their communities.

We at Sukhe Dukkhe are committed to the cause of spreading awareness so that the society should extend the support for these differently able persons. We, with our limitations, are trying to help them to achieve some socio-economic independence. With all the supports from our members and well wishers, we are sure to add more programmes in future addressing these people who are constantly struggling and proving themselves more able than any normal person.

WE DID NOT FORGET THE OBJECTS AND MISSIONS OF OUR SUKHE DUKKHE ORGANISATION. WE ALWAYS TRY OUR BEST WITH OUR LIMITED RESOURCES TO HELP THE UNDER PRIVILEGED PERSONS IN OUR SOCIETY.

WE ARE DOING THIS PROGRAM AGAIN TO REMEMBER THOSE AGED PERSONS WHO ARE SPENDING THEIR DAYS IN THIS OLD AGE HOME ALONE AND IN A HANDFUL OF FOOD.

WE SHALL GIFT THEM SHAWL AND SCARF AND ARRANGE THEIR LUNCH.

SO COME AGAIN TO HELP THEM TO SEE A SMILE BETWEEN THE LIPS OF THEM.

Distribution of new dresses to the poor students.

Our program for distribution of new dresses on the occasion of Durga Puja to the students of Edu-care project was held on 18.9.2011 and very much successful in view of the spirit and enthuse of the participant and donors.
